I am a current tenant with Cunningham Lettings and have had a seamless experience with them. The entire process of viewing, signing and living in one of their properties was incredibly well run and very accomodating to those who are new to the property world (I myself am a second year and they were very helpful with guiding students through the letting prodecure). Highly recommended.

This has been my first year with Cunningham’s and I do not have a bad word to say about them! I was studying abroad whilst signing for the house and they were always flexible and helpful when dealing with this. Since we moved in any minor issues we have had have been dealt with almost immediately. The office is also very friendly and all of the employees are very approachable. I STRONGLY recommend Cunningham Lettings

Cunningham Lettings manage my property and have done for the past 4 years. Throughout this time, they have been nothing but professional, knowledgable, fair and extremely helpful. I lived with a large group of students in the academic year of 2011-2012. Cunningham lettings were very helpful from the very start when we were looking at potential properties. They liaised with the landlord so that we could get the house we wanted with the bills package we wanted for a good price. During the year we weren’t pestered by the landlord or Cunninghams unless they were letting us know of any maintenance works. When we got in contact with a couple of issues in the house, Cunningham lettings were quick to inform the landlord and then follow up with the necessary work that was required. Overall we found that Cunningham lettings really do understand the student point of view and ensure that things are kept fair between us and the landlord.

What can I say, I lived in a Cunningham lettings property in my first year of Uni (2008) at Nottingham Trent and Gaynor and the team set the blueprint for me of what to expect from a landlord and I can safely say, no other landlord since has managed to live up to their standards. Excellent response to issues, all houses are finished to a high standard, no surprise visits like you would expect from private landlords, understanding and they have an option to arrange rent payment dates around the same time that students receive their loans and/or bursaries. Nothing was ever too much and they are always looking on ways to improve their service even helping students in terms of storage over the summer holidays and discounts from local businesses. I still have a good rapport with Gaynor and would recommend anybody to live in a Cunningham property.

I only became a landlord as a consequence of my son being a student at Nottingham ten years ago, when the quality of student accommodation was to say the least, dire. Since then I have tried to find an agent to manage my house, who would look after both my interests as a landlord and the students interests as a parent would expect.
It was only when I met Gaynor Cunningham in 2009 that I found somebody to meet these criteria and I have not been disappointed. Small landlords have been overloaded with requirements regarding licences, and various safety certificates, fire regulations etc.
In my experience, Cunningham’s, deals with all this on my behalf as well as focusing on quality of property, and service in fixing issues. All things that I value. I guess the other thing that matters is that Gaynor is still a mum when considering the students needs.
